October 19, 2018
6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Come to our very popular Halloween Carnival which will take place in the Gymnasium.  There will be games, contests, candy and fun.  Will your costume win a prize in the Costume Contest?  Judging will be divided in the following age categories: 0–3, 4–6, 7–9, 10–12, 13 and over.  Admission is $1.00 for adults; children 12 and under are free. 

Back by popular demand will be our HAUNTED HOUSE for those who want to be spooked, surprised, thrilled and chilled! The Haunted House is held in the oldest section of Singleton (built in 1918). Admission $1.00 and a lot of bravery.

9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

Win a Thanksgiving turkey at the annual Singleton Turkey Shoot.  BB guns, provided by the Bartlett Parks and Recreation Department, will be used to shoot targets mounted on bales of hay in the Singleton Gymnasium.  First, second, and third place prizes will be awarded in the following age categories: 8 and under9–12, 13–17, 18–35, 36–50, 51 and over.  $1.00 will buy you five shots.

6:00 p.m.

Come join us for the annual Christmas Tree Lighting at Singleton Community Center.  The festivities begin at 6:00 p.m. with live entertainment.  Soon after, Santa and Mrs. Claus will arrive and light the tree with their Christmas magic.  After the tree is lit, everyone is invited inside for refreshments.  Santa and Mrs. Claus will be on hand to hear all the children’s Christmas wishes.  There will be several areas set up where children can make and take home some easy Christmas crafts.
